Invisible Touch Snaggy Water 0.30 mm – grey braided carp line
The Invisible Touch Snaggy Water 0.30 mm is our discreet grey braided main line for demanding waters full of obstacles.
When rigs are dropped over several hundred meters and the main line passes by weeds, mussels, stones, or other obstacles, abrasion resistance and additional reserves are crucial. The Snaggy Water 0.30 mm is designed precisely for these situations.
With a 0.30 mm diameter and a breaking strain of around 21 kg, it combines high safety reserves with the very low stretch and direct contact of a braided main line.
The Invisible Touch Snaggy Water 0.30 mm is currently in new production. Estimated delivery will be at the end of December 2026. Pre-orders are already possible at the currently displayed price.

For tough conditions and obstacle-heavy waters
Extreme conditions demand a main line with corresponding reserves. Especially in weeds with mussels, mussel beds, stones, and other sharp-edged obstacles, the line is heavily stressed during the fight and when deploying over long distances.
The 0.30 mm Snaggy Water version is therefore particularly interesting when a thinner main line does not offer sufficient safety reserves.

Why Invisible Touch?
The grey colouration of the Invisible Touch is deliberately subtle. It is suitable for anglers who prefer the most inconspicuous colour possible, even when using a strong braided main line.
Those who, on the other hand, want to see their main line particularly well – for example, when night fishing or when deploying multiple rigs by boat – will find the yellow Visible Touch to be the ideal alternative.
Neutral sinking behaviour at long distance
The Invisible Touch Snaggy Water is not a classic heavy sinking line. It does not sink permanently to the lake bed, nor does it permanently float on the surface.
This neutral sinking/buoyancy behaviour can be particularly advantageous when fishing at long distances. The line remains between the surface and the lake bed, allowing it to better avoid bottom obstacles as well as floating debris on the surface.
Recommended combination with Shock’it
Especially for obstacle fishing, we often combine the Invisible Touch Snaggy Water with our Shock’it mono shock leader .
Depending on the water and the obstacle situation, 0.50 mm, 0.60 mm, or 0.70 mm are used. This provides the heavily stressed front section of the line system with additional abrasion resistance and reserves.
How much Invisible Touch 0.30 mm fits on my reel?
Example Shimano Ultegra 14000:
approx. 490 m of Invisible Touch 0.30 mm.
Practical example Daiwa Entoh 5000:
a good 400 m of Invisible Touch 0.30 mm plus approx. 20–30 m of monofilament Shock’it shock leader.
If your reel, for example, has a stated capacity of 0.40 mm = 280 m, the required amount can be estimated using the rule of three.
Example:
400 × 460 : 280 = approx. 657 m
The actual amount of line depends on the reel model, the backing, and the desired spool fill level.
Visible Touch or Invisible Touch?
Technically, both versions follow the same concept. The decisive difference is the colour: The Visible Touch is particularly visible due to its yellow colour, while the Invisible Touch is intentionally kept much more subtle with its grey colouration.
Practical tips
When spooling for the first time:
We recommend running the line through a slightly damp cloth with a little washing-up liquid while spooling. This removes production-related residues from the surface sealant and reduces initial surface tension.
When deploying with an inflatable boat:
When driving back, the rod tip can be submerged about 30–50 cm into the water. This allows the line to be placed deeper into the water during the return journey, offering better protection against boat traffic and water sports enthusiasts, especially at long distances.
