What material is used?
Decitex 1100 (like GEN4, 0.9mm). New to GEN5 is the super-lightweight coating, which is responsible for the green or black carbon color. The boat has the same excellent durability.
It is somewhat easier in terms of objectives.

The iBoat fleet (since 2009) now also in the finest black carbon look.
Too hot? Quite the opposite:
Carbon black is cooler than realtree or classic green ,
because the carbon surface reflects a large part of the sun. 
Grippy material: Not only the new super-light high-tech PVC has a carbon look, but also the handles on the boat and the two airboards for stabilizing the high-pressure air floor on the 260 and 320.
These are now even made of full carbon on all boats.
Superlight
Due to continuous development, the PVC (carbon black or classic green) is now noticeably lighter – superlight – on all boats.
