iBOAT – Safety & Quality
All iBOAT inflatable boats are manufactured using state-of-the-art hot-wedge welding technology. The permanently welded joints ensure maximum stability and durability.
Latest-generation overpressure valves protect the air chambers from excessive internal pressure, for example in strong sunlight. This allows your iBOAT to regulate critical overpressure automatically – your boat is, in a sense, looking after itself.
Your adventure can begin... set off and return with your story.
ATTENTION:
the Airframe tent by Zebco / Black Cat is no longer manufactured; instead, the solid Black Cat Cave II can be ordered here as part of the boat bundle. Now available with a window from Feb 2027 at no extra cost.
Special feature: the Cave II i is the further developed version and includes a stable front awning, among other features.
The images of the tents (I and II) shown here in the shop for the iBoat 500 and iBoat 400 versions show the old and new versions, still without a window. It will be even better.

What material is used?
Dezitex 1100 (like GEN4, 0.9mm). New in GEN5 is the super-light coating, which is responsible for the green or black carbon colour scheme. The boat has the same excellent durability. It is slightly lighter than originally intended.

WHAT'S SPECIAL:
For the first time, it will be possible to sit comfortably opposite each other, as if in a large GRP boat, and chat. And when it bites, you can rush forward or aft to the rods without tripping hazards or having to climb. All this in a weatherproof tent, with enough space to stay relaxed and comfortable for a long period of time.

The iBoat 500 is delivered on a pallet by a freight forwarder.
The price depends on the delivery address.
We obtain transport quotes and the cheapest provider gets the order. Within Germany, it is usually 50-70 euros.

Shipping costs (including statutory VAT)
The iBoats 400, 400 Extra Wide, 500 and 650 are calculated at cost by a freight forwarder.
The costs are between €70 and max. €150 depending on the delivery address.

Robust even back then: Our earlier load test shows an iBoat without overpressure valves in blazing sun and under high load. Today, overpressure valves complement the proven construction and offer additional protection against excessive internal pressure.
