The specification 3.5-4 lb, for example, means that the rod has a finer, more sensitive tip in the range of approx. 3.5 lb, while the backbone is even tighter - corresponding to up to approx. 4 lb.

We have been using this concept with Temptation rods for over 20 years:

• Fine feel in the tip for clean fighting behavior and bait guidance

• Strong backbone for long-distance casting and safe landing of large fish

The new generation is very modern and available with thin EVA + shrink tube or – depending on your choice – in full cork.
