Temptation Nice'n Slim 12 ft / 2.75-3.25 lbs

The slightly more parabolic version is ideal for medium distances, precise casting from a boat, and soft, controlled fights. Perfect for structured waters, flat lakes, and boat fishing.

Temptation Nice'n Slim 12 ft / 3.5-4.0 lbs

The more powerful version for long-distance casts, tight line work, strong currents, and large fish. Perfectly suited for rivers, large gravel pits, and long-distance rigs.

Question & Answer: Casting Weight Wingspan

The specification 3.5–4 lb means:

• finer, more sensitive tip in the range of approximately 3.5 lb
• stronger backbone up to approx. 4 lb

We have been implementing this concept for over 20 years:

• Clean drilling action and precise lure control thanks to a sensitive tip
• Powerful backbone for long casts and safely landing large fish

The new generation is modern, very slim and available with either thin EVA + shrink tube or full cork.

The action is progressively parabolic with a smooth transition – elegant, but extremely powerful in use.

Note: The Temptation rods were used to set two long-distance casting records in the Czech Republic. A clear indication of their enormous performance.

Technical features

• IM7 Woven Carbon with transition to a fine mat pattern in the tip area
• 6 + 1 SIC rings, 40 mm starting ring
• Rambo 20-roll reel seat – deliberately without metal to avoid interrupting the parabolic action.
• Continuous epoxy coating from the guide ring to 1 cm before the splice connection – stabilizing element for powerful throws

The rod features a sensitive tip and a powerful, dynamic backbone. Its extremely long draw length ensures that tension is maintained even during rapid changes of direction or in strong waves when fighting a fish from a boat.
