What is a real pimp and how does it work? A pimp has many faces and everyone has their own style. But there are more successful and a few good variants. Daniel Wysdak, for example, has caught so many big fish with Amino Complex Liquid & Powder that we now call him the "Wysdak Pimp" in addition to the official name "BigOne Pimp" (introduced in 2000). Carptrack in Liquid & Powder is still probably the most commonly used pimp. I had already experimented with it in numerous European waters around the turn of the millennium with remarkable success. After we started feeding boilies halved in 1996 to increase their surface area and thus their attraction, the next step came 4 years later. I added concentrated ingredients, which I also mixed into the mix, to the outside of the boilies and fixed them with a liquid attractant to form a kind of crust that formed within a short time when the bucket was opened. At the same time, I further reduced the amount of feed I was feeding, which was never really high anyway, and let the crust do the work. And it was incredible how it worked. There were legendary fishing orgies, no matter where we appeared at home and abroad, and there were lots of reports for the many glossy European magazines. Pimp wins The pimp itself has hardly changed in the last 20 years. The "chip shop effect", as I like to call it, is one of the most profitable actions in carp fishing. Especially, but not only, when you can't pre-feed for long. With pimp, it's a case of "feed less - catch more!" And it really can be that "simple". I'm not a fan of books like "Carp fishing is that simple", because it's a very complex thing. It's not about catching a fish once - every angler and every bait can do that, without exception.
