Big Ones need protein - this is how you catch big carp again and again

Hi guys, I'm Oliver Albrecht, and I've been passionate about carp for several years now. During that time, I've tested a lot of different things on the market – but ultimately, one thing remains clear to me: Protein is key if you want to consistently catch big fish.

In nature, carp feed mainly on protein-rich food - mudworms, snails, crabs, mussels... the whole range.
And sure, there's liquid in it too - but what really matters is the protein content.
Feeding areas with sugar or carbohydrate-rich baits?

They often only work in the short term – or not at all. When you're fishing against natural food or tough competition, good, protein-rich baits simply make all the difference.
This is my personal experience - feel free to share your opinion in the comments!
Tight lines and best regards
Oliver Albrecht
